Coach Thompson allowed us to tape his Saturday, November 23, 2024, early morning practice session. Coach’s team was 2-days away from their season opener. The points-of-emphasis for this short practice were:
Get a lot of shots up
Review their Blocker/Mover Offense & Entries
Get up & down the court with short burst scrimmages
Coach Thompson, no matter what program he has led, has experienced a tremendous amount of success, while doing things the “right way.” The programs led by Coach Thompson are known for an extreme amount of discipline, execution, Blocker/Mover offense, and suffocating 5-man free-switching man-to-man defense.
PLEASE NOTE: During the filming of this Mic’d-Up Practice Session, we had crippling issues with wifi. Coach Thompson’s microphone was not consistently connecting to our camera, so his voice is hard to hear clearly. There were NO issues with the filming, so the picture is clear.
